What is GM Diet?

GM DIET PLAN FOR 7 DAYS

DAY 1- The Fruit Day

As the name suggest consume only fruits on the first day. Fruits will help your body to get rid of toxins. Fruits provide you with antioxidants which flush out toxins from your body. Citrus fruits and high water content fruits will help you to get rid out of wastes from your body through urination and give a shine on your face.

Fiber rich food keeps you full longer. Fruits are rich in fiber that is why they are recommended for the first day in this plan. They contain natural sweetness which is not at all harmful for your body.

Breakfast- 8.00 to 9 AM

  • Consume apples.
  • After consuming apples drink two glass of water after 30 minutes to avoid bloating.

Morning snack – 10:00 AM to 11 AM

  • One bowl of papaya or kiwi.
  • Have water (2 glasses) after 30 minutes.

Evening snack – 6 to 7.00 PM

I know now you are bored of drinking water, you may choose to drink coconut water over water as it provides you with minerals and nutrients which would rejuvenate your internal organs.

Dinner – 9.00 to 10 PM

  • A bowl of watermelon
  • Two glasses of water before going to bed.

Fruits you can eat: Apples, watermelon, muskmelon, strawberries, kiwi etc.

Avoid: Banana

Day 2 – Vegetable Day

After you successfully followed the first day diet plan, it’s your chance to switch your fruit diet to a vegetable diet. If you are fond of salads, then you might really enjoy this day as today you can create your own salads with your favorite raw veggies. But remember not to use heavy dressings like mayonnaise, cheese etc. If necessary you can sprinkle a little bit extra virgin olive oil to give your salad a good taste.

You can also consume boiled veggies like boiled potato today but don’t consume more than two potatoes a day as one potato gives you enough energy for a day.

Along with salads you can also consume green tea on day 2, it will help in detoxification.

Breakfast- 8.00 – 9.00 AM

  • 2 potatoes ( boiled )
  • Chopped onions
  • Salt as per taste
  • Mix and eat it.
  • After 30 minutes consume 2 glass of water.

Morning snack – 10.00 to 11 AM

  • Chopped lettuce or red cabbage.

  • Drink water ( 2 glasses ) after 30 minutes

Lunch – 12.00 to 1 PM

  • Prepare a salad now.

You may require:-

  • Cucumber

  • Tomato

  • Beetroot

  • Onions

  • Mint or coriander leaves

  • Salt for taste

  • Lime juice

Mix them well and eat.

  • Drink two glass of water.

Mid noon snack- 4 to 5 PM

  • Consume raw tomatoes

  • Drink two glass of water after having it

Dinner – 7 to 8 PM

You need:-

  • Cauliflower and broccoli ( boiled)

  • Salt and spices

Mix them and eat. After 30 minutes drink 2 glass of water again.

DAY 3 – Fruits and Veggies day

This is the combination of first and second day where you have to include both fruits and vegetables in your diet.

Today, what you have to do is eat a combination of above fruits and vegetables. The goodness of both these things will combine and provide your body with proteins, fiber, vitamins and many more things.

The combination of these two will help your body to refill itself. The water content in fruits and vegetables will flush out toxins from your body.

Breakfast: – 8 to 9 AM

  • Consume Apple and watermelon
  • Drink 2 glass of water after that.

Morning snack: – 10 to 11 AM

  • Prefer papaya at this time.
  • 2 glass of water

Lunch: – 12 to 1 PM

  • Prepare a salad using Tomatoes and lettuce.
  • 2 glass of water after it.

Afternoon snack: – 4 to 5 PM

  • Mango or orange
  • Pineapple
  • Don’t forget to have 2 glass of water after 30 minutes

Dinner – 7 to 8 PM

  • Boiled vegetables like broccoli, cabbage and raw papaya. Add salt and pepper to it and consume.
  • Drink 2 glass of water after this.

DAY 4 –

Now the fruit that was an exception on Day 1 and Day 3 should be consumed on Day 4. You have to eat the following things:-

  • Banana( 8-10 )
  • Milk (4 glasses)
  • Water (8-12 glasses)

You are advised to consume milk thrice a day. One glass each with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Distribute bananas over among you meal and snack times.

Bananas are high in energy, rich in protein, and aids digestion. They also are high in potassium and low in salt. Milk is a great source of calcium and potassium. They both help in strengthening your bones.

Breakfast – 8 to 9.00 AM

  • 2-3 bananas with one glass of lukewarm milk
  • You can prefer banana smoothie (without sugar, you can add honey) if you get bored of this.

Lunch – 12 to 1 PM

  • Large bowl of vegetable soup with tomatoes and cabbage. Add black pepper and ginger if you want, these are really good fat cutters.

Dinner – 7:30 – 8 PM

  • Vegetable soup + banana
  • Eat one or two bananas before going to bed.

Day 5: Protein Day

Consume:

  • 6 tomatoes and paneer
  • One cup of brown rice
  • 12-15 glasses of water

What you have to do?

You can consume brown rice in lunch. You can add paneer to your rice. Minimum oil should be used for any cooking purposes. To fight the high amount of uric acids in your body you need to increase your water intake.

Why this works?

Brown rice is complex carbohydrate and is high in fiber. It aids in digestion. Tomatoes are high in fiber and aids digestion.

Day 6-

You will need:-

  • One cup of brown rice
  • Cooked or uncooked vegetables
  • Water (8-12 glasses)

What you will have to do?

This is another relatively high food intake day. Vegetables have to be boiled, not fried, and salads shouldn’t have heavy dressing. This will give you added motivation to finish your diet on a high.

Why this works?

In addition to the other nutrient-rich foods, a mix of vegetables provides the nutrients needed by our body.

Day 7 –

You will need:-

  • One cup of brown rice
  • Any vegetables
  • All fruit juices

What you have to do on this last day?

Woah! You made it! Today is your final day of the GM diet plan. You may have one serving of brown rice with as much vegetables as you want. To supplement your meal have fruit juice with it.

How it works?

Fruit juices will flush out toxins from the system, and other food items will provide you with the much needed energy.
